We are looking for an ambitious Analyst to join our growing Due Diligence Transaction Services team that focus on Financial Services sector deals. Our new colleague will assist in the execution of financial due diligence assignments on both buy-side and sell-side transactions and support the team in new business generation.

Our Transaction Services team is an award-winning team and highly regarded in the marketplace. The team specialises in financial due diligence, advising clients on business acquisitions and investments. Deal values are typically in the £20m to £500m range.

This role provides an opportunity for you to join the fast-moving world of Corporate Finance and Transaction Services. Working alongside a team of other professionals where you will play an integral role in leading the execution of financial due diligence projects, on both buy-side and sell-side transactions, as well as contributing to the continued successful growth of the business.

You'll will make an impact by:

1. Assisting with client acceptance and engagement take-on processes
2. Undertaking financial analysis, interpretation of outputs
3. Identifying key deal issues and commercial observations
4. Assisting in the preparation of reports
5. Liaising with clients, target businesses and other professional advisors
6. Working closely with senior team members, ensuring effective communication throughout engagements

7. Excellent report writing/drafting and communication skills, both oral and written
8. Strong analytical skills including the ability to review data for completeness and accuracy
9. Excellent attention to detail
10. Previous experience in a deals environment and understanding of a transaction process
11. A self-motivated individual with a high level of accuracy, diligence and integrity
12. A proactive mindset and a willingness to take on responsibility and a collaborative approach to working in a dynamic team environment
13. Strong technical skills with a desire to study for an ACA qualification or equivalent in the near future
