Based at Borders General Hospital but will be expected to visit all sites across NHS Borders.
This post will require both excellent administrative and line management skills. Strong communication skills are required and working to tight deadlines.
The post holder will be responsible for full line management of General Services Supervisors at BGH and within the community, whilst providing administrative and project support to the supervisors and managers within the department.
The post holder will be responsible for all relevant management and meetings relating to Facilities staff which include, domestics/Porters/Drivers at the BGH and within the community.
The post holder will input and collate data for the department, produce reports from data for management and will also assist in project planning and implementation including end user support.
Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check done than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
