Part Time Lead Practice Nurse (RGN)
The post holder must possess a current NMC PIN and maintain current membership of the Royal College of Nursing.

The focus of the role is ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to our patient population. The post holder will be the nurse team leader at Testvale Surgery and will also be able to work as part of the whole general practice team as well as autonomously, demonstrating strong professional decision making skills and clinical expertise. They will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of evidence-based nursing care to the Practice population and will actively support the Practice Management team in developing and reviewing clinical policy.
Main duties of the job

The Lead Practice Nurse will be responsible for several clinical areas such as Infection Control, Health Promotion and Chronic Disease management.
Salary will be dependent on experience and will be discussed at interview. Ideally, we are looking for PT 24 hours per week. Flexibility to cover for holidays and sickness is essential.
