Overview
An exciting opportunity at Halesowen College for a Trainee Lecturer in Physics. In this role you will work towards and then deliver effective learning, teaching and assessment to provide a high-quality learner experience to enthusiastic students who are passionate about the subject. You will have the potential to deliver Physics topics such as Atomic Structure and Radioactivity, Thermodynamics and student-led Physics projects across our vocational Science programmes. You will work within teams delivering programmes of study across various curriculum areas to help learners gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for employment or higher-level studies. An enthusiasm for the subject and a drive to help students progress in Science or a related discipline is essential.
Safeguarding and qualifications We are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and will undertake an Enhanced DBS, safer recruitment vetting and online checks for all successful candidates. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to attain a professional teaching qualification as part of the role, including ongoing professional development.
