Welder Fabricator£19.11IlkleyExcellent opportunity to join an established special purpose machinery manufacturer in the Ilkley area. The role will be based on the shop floor, producing a range of standard and bespoke machinery in a range of materials. This is a permanent role from day one and would be ideal for an apprentice trained Welder Fabricator who has previous experience working in an engineering environment.As the Fabricator Welder you will:Set welding equipment to the correct parameters, including amps, volts, wire speed & gasRead, interpret & work to engineering drawings to accurately produce high quality assemblies, quality checking welds to ensure they meet required specificationsAccurately select parts required for assembly operation & ensure parts picked are in good conditionCarry out MIG welding & basic TIG adhering to safety critical welding parameters & processes.Work with a range of materials including mild steel, some stainless and sheet metal in a variety of thicknessesUse a variety of hand tools & operate rolling & swaging machinery (training provided)Use a variety of cutting methods including, gas, plasma & cutting discsAs the Fabricator Welder you will be:Level 3 apprentice trained in Welding & FabricationIdeally coded welder ISO standard 9606Skilled in MIG welding and basic TIGExperienced in welding a range of materials in an engineering environmentAble to work to and interpret engineering drawingsAble to work independently and be self-motivatedExcellent attention to detailHard working and conscientious with a can-do attitudeExperienced in Pneumatics and pipe fittingProfessional, with a strong understanding of quality & health & safety proceduresAble to meet deadlines & work to production schedulesThe company & benefitsThis company design and manufacture mechanical and special purpose products.
