EYFS Class Teacher – Full Time

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Colchester on a full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality early years education and creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
The Role:
1. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
2. Create a safe, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment
3. Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
4. Assess, observe, and track progress using EYFS assessment methods
5. Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and staff
6. Work collaboratively as part of the EYFS and wider school team
7. Maintain high standards of behaviour, wellbeing, and safeguarding
The Ideal Candidate Will:
8. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
9. Have experience teaching in EYFS within a UK primary school or nursery setting
10. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
11. Be warm, enthusiastic, and child-centred in their approach
12. Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
13. Be committed to inclusive practice and safeguarding
