Band 7 Advanced Specialist Cardiac Physiologist – Echocardiography (North Manchester General)
Based at North Manchester General. We are looking for enthusiastic, committed, dynamic individuals to join our team, rotating between sites to provide cardiac diagnostic services in a large tertiary centre, district general, and community settings.
Main duties of the job
* Independently practise with a high level of skill and autonomy at Advanced Specialist level in echocardiography.
* Independently practise with a high level of skill and autonomy across a wide range of other cardiac physiology procedures.
* Provide effective day-to-day leadership of the cardiac physiology team within the advanced specialist field and in other areas when required.
* Actively participate in practical and theoretical training and development of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals from inside and outside the organisation.
* Participate in cardiac and associated medical research as integral to the role.
* Undertake any other duties deemed appropriate to the band when requested by the Principal Cardiac Physiologist.
