This role is central to our mission of driving operational excellence and financial integrity across Ingram Micro UK&I. You’ll have the chance to make a real difference by shaping the direction of a newly created finance function, implementing strong financial controls, and enabling smarter decision‑making through insightful reporting and leadership.
What you can expect to be getting up to as a Comms-Care Finance Lead
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting compliant with US GAAP and Ingram Micro accounting policies
* Own statutory audit processes and build effective relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
* Enhance the financial control environment and consult with the UK&I Head of Finance on technical matters
* Partner with FP&A to develop decision‑driving financial reports and performance metrics
* Support regional and global finance queries and act as primary escalation contact for financial matters
* Lead and mentor 2 direct reports, fostering a high‑performance culture through coaching and development
To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
* Experience in Finance control roles
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA)
* Experience with SOX Compliance & Internal Controls
* Experience working within a US GAAP framework
* Knowledge of corporation tax and VAT
* ERP implementation exposure
* Proven ability in developing and managing internal control frameworks
* Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
* Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
* Relationship‑building mindset and confidence to challenge the status quo
