An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Internal Sales Team for an Internal Sales Administrator based on a 12 month FTC. Your mission as an Internal Sales Administrator is to maintain and enhance customer relationships to meet organisational and operational objectives, thus providing a world class customer service. You will report to the Sales Office Manager.

Responsibilities include:

1. Deliver excellent customer service per sector, constantly striving to maximise customer experience
2. Processing and administering customer orders received per customer
3. Liaise with planning & operations to deliver customer orders in line with SLA’s
4. Administer an accurate database of customers using CRM system
5. Administer customer pricing agreements & validity periods per sector
6. Process customer complaints per sector
7. Liaise with other internal stakeholders to provide customer resolutions effectively & efficiently
8. Utilise the necessary resources and tools to deliver excellent customer service
9. Provision of data to determine customer service outputs
10. Assist with customer service projects and initiatives
11. Reporting on customer order book
12. Reviewing and updating agreed product lead times with internal stakeholders
13. Attend order book review meetings
14. Creating new part numbers and reviewing on a weekly basis to ensure timely progression
15. Arranging plant certificates between the Customer and Technical in order to feed back into Production
To succeed, you will need

Professional Requirements

16. 2 years Customer service experience
17. Professional communication abilities, both written and spoken
18. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
19. Proficiency in MS Office applications, in particular Excel

21. Attention to detail/accuracy of work
22. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
23. Self-motivated
24. Ability to form good and productive relationships with customers & colleagues
25. Excellent telephone manner
26. Desire and ability to follow up on, and close open issues.
27. Ability to work to deadlines, which can often be challenging.

Job location

This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Washington, Tyne and Wear, UK. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
