The role We are looking for a Finance Data Analyst to join the Finance team based in one of our UK offices in Sheffield, Leeds, London or Manchester. This is a 6 month fixed term contract position with the following objectives: Supporting all DLA Piper (International) Purchase to Pay processes and procedures. Supporting the stability, maturity and optimisation of some Purchase to Pay processes within the DLA Piper GSC and all International office. Advocating the DLA Piper GSC service model for Purchase to Pay with all key stakeholder groups. Supporting the Service Delivery Manager on some Purchase to Pay service improvement and transformation activities including the implementation of new technologies and automation to improve quality, effectiveness and compliance. They would be focussing on a Supplier Master Data project to look to enrich our Supplier Master across all locations. Developing effective stakeholder relationships with the business to qualify and quantify the end user experience and to facilitate improvement activity with business users. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Establish effective working relationships with the GSC Purchase to Pay team and cross functional teams tosupport on the Supplier Master Data project and its interdependencies. Support on a key project around Supplier Master Data by amending, populating and ultimately enriching the data set for all locations across the International business. Work with international finance teams and third party vendors to ensure the firms Supplier Master Data is accurate and compliant. Utilise various data sources to ensure the data is validated and accurate. Provide regular updates on progress, highlight key risks and blockers to senior stakeholders. Drive data consistency across the Supplier Master Data for all locations. ABOUT YOU Have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and be fluent in English. Be a self-starter, who is able to work on their own initiative as well as being part of a virtual team, and has a strong client service orientation. Have an understanding of International Purchase to Pay functions. Have an understanding on data management, data entry and validation of data. Have a sound practical understanding (or have the ability to gain the understanding quickly) of the UK Solicitors Accounts Rules. Be able to build and maintain strong relationships with the international teams. Be able to communicate effectively with third party organisations.
