Assignment Details
This full-time assignment is available from mid-March through to early June, making it an excellent opportunity for a teacher seeking a substantial and rewarding role for the summer term period.
The school is seeking a qualified English specialist to deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, prepare, and mark work in line with department expectations, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained.
You will be joining a supportive English department with clear schemes of work in place, allowing you to focus on delivering inspiring lessons that drive student progress and examination success. The role runs Monday to Friday during standard school hours.

As a Successful Qualified Teacher, You Will Need to:
• Hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Be confident teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be committed to raising attainment and supporting students of all abilities
• Be willing to engage in ongoing professional development
• Work effectively under pressure and adapt quickly
• Be ambitious, enthusiastic, and have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
• Be able to commute to Nottingham and surrounding areas
