Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutor

Salary:
£20 - £30 per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide personalised educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.
* Deliver engaging lessons and activities to help students achieve their learning goals.
* Regularly assess and monitor students' progress.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to effectively support students.
* Adapt teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
* Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience working with students with SEN.
* Strong knowledge of SEN support strategies and techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEN teaching.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Familiarity with the SEN Code of Practise.
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual needs.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Education.
* Training in specific SEN interventions.
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours.
* Temporary position.
* Work in a school setting or home setting
* Potential travel to different schools within the Merton area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
