Responsibilities
:
1. Perform exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and system testing of regulatory reporting applications
2. Design, write, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for regulatory reporting related applications
3. Identify, report, and track software issues and bugs
4. Collaborate with stakeholders (business analysts, developers, product owners, end-users, vendors, and others) to understand business requirements and stakeholders' needs
5. Analyse system logs, configurations and other system data usingmon technology tools for test confirmation and defect analysis
6. Contribute to the design and improvement of the automation testing framework
7. Participate in the creation of test scenarios for capacity, load, and performance testing
8. Serve as second or third tier support for production issues
9. Responsible for bug management process and issue identification and tracking (bug advocacy).
Experience /petences:
Essential
10. Extensive software Quality Assurance experience
11. Relevant experience with Python language (for writing automated tests)
12. Experience with SQL and Linux
13. Understanding of testing methodologies, including test case design, test scripting, defect analysis, defect reporting, and defect tracking
14. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills including the ability tomunicate and document testing plans and results
15. Solid understanding of product development lifecycles and iterative development methods with amitment to quality and excellence
16. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting testing efforts to meet project needs and deadlines
17. Strong sense of ownership and self-sufficiency
Desirable
18. Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Git
19. Experience with Regulatory Reports (Transaction Reporting / CAT reporting)
