EducationHealth and Care Plans (EHC) Caseworker- Northamptonshire (Locum Role)
Tripod Partners are recruiting for an EHC Caseworker in Northamptonshire.
* As an allocated caseworker, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring statutory assessments and Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans are delivered within the required 20-week timeframe.
* You’ll work closely with families, young people, and educational settings to make sure each plan accurately reflects the needs and aspirations of the individual.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and draft high-quality, outcome-focused EHC Plans in line with the Children and Families Act and SEND Code of Practice.
* Provide advice and support to young people, families, and carers in line with EHC Plan objectives.
* Liaise with service users and providers to monitor and review services, requesting funding where appropriate.
* Maintain and update accurate records in line with council policies.
* Contribute to service improvement, supporting managers with guidance and advice.
* Undertake ongoing coordination and annual reviews of EHC Plans, making amendments or discontinuations where appropriate.
* Work in partnership across education, health, and social care to deliver joined-up, person-centred support.
Essential
* Good general education (A-level or equivalent).
* Experience in statutory processes and managing statutory systems.
* Strong knowledge of SEND regulations and reporting requirements.
* Experience liaising with service users and professionals across health, social care, and education.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills.
* Ability to manage challenging situations with diplomacy and resilience.
Desirable
* A recognised qualification in SEND, Education, Health, or Social Care.
* Knowledge of Capita ONE or similar systems.
* Experience in person-centred planning and leading multi-agency meetings.
* Understanding of laws and legislation affecting local authority education, health, or social care services.
