We are seeking a passionate Religious Studies Teacher to inspire students and encourage open-minded discussions on philosophy, ethics, and world religions. This role begins September 2025.
Duties as a Religious Studies Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Encourage critical thinking and meaningful discussions on moral and ethical issues.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Religious Studies examinations (if applicable).
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Create an inclusive and respectful classroom environment.
* Contribute to the wider school community, including assemblies and extracurricular activities.
Ideal Religious Studies Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Religious Studies, Philosophy, Theology, or a related subject.
* Experience teaching Religious Studies at [Key Stage 3/4/5].
* Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Religious Studies Teacher.
* A passion for inspiring students and fostering respect for different perspectives.
* The ability to promote thoughtful debate and independent thinking.
