Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour (Weekly Pay).
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30–17:00.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established construction company based in Middlewich, Cheshire, who are looking to add an experienced Stock Controller to their busy warehouse team.

🔍 Role Overview
The Stock Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate stock records across the warehouse. You will lead cycle counts, support stock control activities, assist with stock movements and job bookings, and operate FLT/Telehandler equipment where required.
This role plays a key part in ensuring inventory accuracy and smooth warehouse operations.
✅ Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and carry out inspections and internal audits of the stores
2. Investigate and resolve stock inaccuracies
3. Maintain accurate stock records within the customer’s system
4. Assist with stock movements, allocations, and job bookings
5. Support goods-in operations
6. Safely and efficiently operate FLT Counterbalance and Telehandler equipment (essential)
7. Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to improve stock accuracy
8. Follow company Health & Safety procedures at all times
9. Identify and report risks, errors, or opportunities for process improvement
10. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
🛠️ Skills & Experience Required
11. Proven experience in stock control within a warehouse environment
12. Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
13. Ability to work effectively in a busy workplace
14. Valid FLT Counterbalance and Telehandler licence (essential)
15. Confident using warehouse management systems and basic IT systems
16. Strong problem-solving skills
17. Ability to work independently and lead stock activities
18. Good communication skills with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team
19. Reliable, proactive, and flexible to meet business needs
