Project Manager opportunity within the Wastewater Asset Management team at Yorkshire Water. The role is based at our Buttershaw site, Bradford, with flexible hybrid working. Permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday within a standard working window.

Responsibilities
* Deliver MEICA Capitalisation investment funds in AMP8, including reporting of expenditure and overall financial management of projects.
* Work with Sponsors and Asset Planning Managers to ensure processes are optimised and projects are delivered within scope, on time, to cost, and to the required quality.
* Manage a number of direct delivery projects focused on interventions to reduce pollution incidents and maintain sewage treatment works final effluent performance.
* Manage and mitigate risks and issues in collaboration with Sponsor community and Asset Planning Managers.
* Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, programme monitoring and forecasting, and produce robust business cases and ROI analyses.
* Develop and maintain high-quality project and implementation plans, reports, and change management in a moving environment.
* Manage key stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication plans are in place.
What skills & qualifications you will need
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team, driving business excellence and performance throughout project delivery.
* Project management qualification (APM PMQ, Prince 2 or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
* Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills across all business levels.
* Excellent stakeholder management, internal and external.
* Ability to create and present information clearly to a wider audience, including non-technical audiences.
* Capability to create strong, impactful business cases to secure investment and drive benefits.
* Resilience to manage fast-paced change and competing priorities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, PowerBI) and IT literacy for company-specific tools (PM tools, scheduling, GIS).
* Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations and their application in a working environment.
You will also benefit from having
* Experience in the Water or Wastewater sector, or utilities, process, or manufacturing industries.
* Experience in contractor management on site and familiarity with CDM regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
* Understanding of Water industry regulation and current challenges in Wastewater (e.g., pollution, sewer flooding events).
