What You’ll Do As a Catering Assistant You’ll be entrusted to: Follow company Health and Safety procedures and meet all Food Safety legislation requirements. Adhere to all Food Safety Management System processes and complete required documentation. Carry out and record temperature checks and maintain high standards of food hygiene. Prepare food and beverages in line with café menus and presentation standards. Maintain stock levels across café and vending points to meet service demand. Promote and maintain brand standards at all times. Apply good housekeeping principles, completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules. Follow financial procedures including cash handling and till reconciliation. Work flexibly across both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house areas to meet service needs. Does this sound like you? You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have: Experience in a food retail or service environment. Strong customer care and communication skills. Knowledge of food hygiene, allergen awareness, and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) processes. The ability to work well as part of a team. Confidence with basic financial procedures and cash handling.
