Registered Nurse - Women's Health

We're seeking nursing staff with enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a drive to provide excellent patient-focused care in our women's unit. This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible individual to work within our women's unit, supporting clinics in the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU), Colposcopy, Gynaecology, and Hysteroscopy clinics. The clinics operate Monday to Friday, from 08:30 am to 5:30 pm.
The successful candidate will be a team player with a strong desire to deliver compassionate care and empower others within a friendly and supportive environment. You must work well as part of a team, use your initiative, and perform effectively under pressure. Candidates with an interest or experience in Gynaecology are encouraged to apply.
Interviews for this position will be held in person ONLY at Scarborough Hospital. Remote interviews will not be available. The validity of your Nursing and Midwifery Council PIN will be checked before shortlisting. Inaccuracies in NMC PIN details will result in your application not being progressed.

Main duties of the job
* Maintain high standards of patient-focused care according to York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust policies and procedures.
* Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients, maintaining accurate written records.
* Communicate effectively with patients and carers to provide access to appropriate information.
* Promote positive relationships among all staff involved in patient care.
* Act in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Conduct.
* Undertake duties across different wards/departments as required by service demands.
* Demonstrate personal responsibility for infection control policies and procedures.
* Engage in Education and Training activities.
