Our nationally respected Serious Injury Team is seeking an ambitious Solicitor or Paralegal with experience in serious, complex and catastrophic injury litigation to join their team. This role offers hybrid working across the West Midlands, with attendance at one of our offices for anchor days.
This is a rare opportunity to join a department with an exceptional reputation, a significant volume of high‑value work, and a long history of securing life‑changing outcomes for clients.
You will manage and support claimant cases valued between £100,000 and £20 million, with a particular focus on brain injury, polytrauma, and other serious injury claims. Many of these cases run for several years, requiring strong relationship‑building skills, resilience, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client care.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Working on serious, complex and catastrophic injury claims under no win, no fee funding arrangements.
* Supporting senior lawyers on high value and multi‑million‑pound claims while developing your own caseload.
* Liaising with medical experts, counsel, case managers, and rehabilitation providers.
* Preparing witness statements, schedules of loss, instructions to experts, and court documents.
* Attending client meetings, case conferences, and settlement discussions.
* Contributing to the team’s continued growth and reputation through excellent client service.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in serious, complex and catastrophic injury litigation (essential).
* Strong understanding of claimant personal injury law, particularly brain injury.
* Ability to manage complex files with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
* A desire to develop your expertise and progress within a leading team.
* Excellent communication and client‑care skills.
* Someone based in the West Midlands (Worcestershire, Birmingham, Black Country or Shropshire) to attend anchor days at one of our offices.
