Salary: £31,200 per year
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Yard Operative to join their growing team based in Leith, Edinburgh.
This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse and logistics environment, ideal for someone reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to develop within an expanding business.
Key Responsibilities: - Loading and unloading shipping containers and delivery vehicles
- Picking and preparing outgoing orders
- Receiving and checking incoming goods
- Supporting inspection and basic maintenance of rental equipment
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard environment
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory control
- Reporting directly to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager
Requirements: - Valid driving licence
- Valid forklift licence
- Previous experience within a yard, warehouse, or similar environment
- Basic computer skills
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
- Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented attitude
The successful candidate will be willing to learn new products and processes and interested in building a long-term career within the company.
