GEM Programming Solutions is a UK‑based specialist Biometrics CRO, delivering high‑quality statistical programming solutions to the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.

About the Role
This is a UK-based **, remote role with occasional in-person meetings expected.
As a Graduate Programmer at GEM Programming Solutions, you will:
* Develop proficiency in SAS® and R for reporting clinical trial data
* Become knowledgeable in CDISC (SDTM, ADaM) and other industry standards
* Create detailed specifications that document mapping of raw data to standardised data
* Write programs to generate industry standard datasets
* Produce programs to generate tables, listings, and figures used in clinical study reporting
* Write validation code
* Identify and feedback issues regarding the clinical database

About You
You will bring:
* A BSc in Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths (STEM) or equivalent containing an element of statistical and/or biomedical topics
* Experience of hands-on programming in R and/or SAS, via a degree module or work experience
* Familiarity with MS Office 365 (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
* An understanding of the importance of quality in your work with exceptional attention to detail
* Strong propensity for problem solving and logical thinking
* A self-starter who is curious and has a thirst for learning
* Willingness to apply innovative programming techniques to solve problems
* Can adapt and respond to requests from across the business
* Flexible mindset and ability to work across multiple projects concurrently
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
