Vehicle Technician
Location: Rochester
Pay: £20.00 per hour (£46,800 per year) + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am - 4:30pm (45 hours per week)
Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays
Job Overview
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join a leading automotive company in Rochester. This permanent position offers an excellent hourly rate, overtime opportunities, and great benefits.
What You'll Be Doing
* Perform vehicle servicing and maintenance
* Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults
* Conduct ramp tests and test drives
* Complete accurate service records
* Help train and support junior team members
* Work to manufacturer standards
What You Need
* Qualified mechanic (City & Guilds, NVQ, or IMI Level 2/3)
* Experience with diagnostic equipment
* Good knowledge of vehicle systems
* Full UK driving licence
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work well in a team
