We are currently seeking an Autism Tutor to provide specialized assistance to learners in Northamptonshire. Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to the unique learning needs of individuals with autism. Develop and implement personalized teaching strategies to enhance academic and social development. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promoting independence and confidence. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education. Assess and monitor progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed. Requirements: Proven experience working with individuals with autism. Understanding of various teaching methodologies and strategies for supporting individuals with autism. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to tutoring. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the availability of students. Qualifications: Relevant qualification in special education, psychology, or a related field. Previous experience in tutoring or teaching individuals with autism.
