Required ASAP Teacher of Chemistry NQT (M1 to UPS3), Full-Time (12 months initially, possibility of permanent post) Pensby High School is an 11-16 co-educational and non-selective secondary school; in a highly selective local authority. We are currently looking to employ a Teacher of Chemistry to join our successful department. Pensby High School has seen a rapid improvement in outcomes for its students. We are committed to placing the development of teachers and therefore students' learning at the forefront of what we do. As a result, we are seeing a rapid growth in the number of students across both key stage 3 and 4, with parents and students increasingly seeing the school as their first choice, and the school is now oversubscribed. New appointments are supported by a tailored coaching programme and all staff contribute to a collegiate coaching programme. The successful candidates will be expected to: Teach chemistry at both KS3 & 4 Display and promote excellence in teaching and learning Inspire Pupils Have a commitment to raising achievement Pensby High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
