Charnwood Museum is an award-winning attraction situated in the beautiful grounds of Queens Park in Loughborough.
Housed in the former Victorian swimming baths, Charnwood Museum showcases the rich and diverse heritage of the local area, featuring exhibits on history, geology, archaeology, and industries of Charnwood and surrounding areas.
The key role of the Museum Assistant involves working as part of a small team to ensure the smooth operation of the museum, with a focus on customer service, security, and health and safety.
You will ensure visitors receive a warm welcome and have an enjoyable visit. Responsibilities include handling inquiries about room hire, cleaning tasks, facilitating school groups, and delivering events—making each day at Charnwood Museum unique.
The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
