As a Direct Entry Captain at Loganair, you’ll command safe, efficient regional operations across our multi‑fleet network, setting the tone for teamwork and excellence on every sector. NTR: comprehensive type and differences training is provided.
🧭 What you'll do
* Lead multi‑crew operations in full compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
* Make timely, sound decisions under pressure while maintaining a calm, professional cockpit environment.
* Foster positive, open communication and collaboration across flight and cabin crew.
* Champion a proactive safety culture, reporting and managing risks effectively.
* Deliver a warm, professional customer experience representative of Loganair’s values.

* Strong technical flying proficiency and systems knowledge.
* Excellent communication skills and a professional, inclusive leadership style.
* In‑depth knowledge of aviation regulations, safety practices, and flight operations.
* Proven teamwork and leadership credentials with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
🌟 Minimum requirements
* License: ATPL
* Accepted licenses: UK CAA
* Medical: Class 1
* ICAO ELP level: 4 or higher
* Type rating: Not required (training provided)
* Recent command experience: Currently or recently operated in command on a multi‑crew aircraft (MTOW > 10t or 19+ pax)
* Right to work: Right to live and work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
🌟 Desirable
* Preferred type ratings: Valid ERJ 145 or ATR 42/72
