Summary
Summary
The Governors of Ribchester St. Wilfrid's C of E Primary are seeking to appoint a committed and highly motivated School Business Support Officer who will be responsible for the day to day running of the school office.
Previous experience of working in a school preferable.
General duties include welcoming parents and visitors, dealing with telephone enquiries, maintaining the pupil database, following financial processes for ordering and invoicing, updating the school's financial system, maintaining the single central record of pre-appointment safeguarding checks, maintaining the school website and social media, and using the school's IT systems for maintaining school dinners, trips, income, online payments and communicating with parents as well as other general office duties.
This position is term time only; please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. The actual salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

* Five GCSE's Grade C / 4 and above, including Maths & English (or equivalent)
* NVQ Level 2 or above
* High Level of Literacy and Numeracy skills
* High Level of ICT Skills

* A proven success in an administration and secretarial role.
* Proven experience with Microsoft software (especially Word and Excel)
* Good interpersonal skills (both in person and on the telephone)
* Book keeping (or other finance) experience

* Experience of working in a school office.
* Experience of School administration systems - SIMS and Finance 6
* Knowledge of HR and payroll systems.
* Knowledge of maintaining school website and social media
