The role of Painter and Decorator will include:
1. Conducting responsive repairs and maintenance tasks in occupied properties within our Social Housing portfolio
2. Troubleshooting problems and taking necessary action to ensure swift resolution, whilst keeping customers informed throughout the process
3. Maintaining an appropriate level of van stock and restocking as needed
4. Providing clear and timely updates on the progress of repair works to customers
Skills and experiences:
5. Previous experience in Social Housing is preferred
6. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively
7. Additional skills in some of the following disciplines such as painting and decoration and commercial and domestic cleaning
8. Familiarity with health and safety regulations
9. This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
