As a Driving Examiner you will be at the heart of this mission, helping ensure people get their driving future off to a great start. We are looking for proactive, friendly and safe drivers who would like to train to become fully qualified Driving Examiners.
We will provide all the training you need to get your career off to an incredible start. Our test centres are grouped into clusters, so you will select a cluster local to you. After a job offer is made, you will start training online, undertake practical training at a local test centre, and have up to three weeks of guidance at a regional training facility before embarking on a varied career assessing driver readiness for licences.
Responsibilities
 * Meet people from all walks of life on a day-to-day basis while overseeing seven driving examinations a day.
 * Put nervous customers at ease using exceptional people skills and clearly explain instructions.
 * Use a tablet to record results and determine whether candidates meet the expected standards.
 * Deliver positive and negative outcomes with tact and diplomacy.
What makes you a good fit
 * Deep appreciation for diversity and inclusivity; exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
 * Calm and unflappable under pressure.
 * Safe driver with a UK or EU driving licence held for at least three years.
 * No more than three penalty points on your licence; good knowledge of the Highway Code and correct road procedures.
 * Friendly and team-spirited with a passion for setting high standards that drivers uphold for years to come.
