Overview
We are working with a leading global AV integration provider to hire a Senior Production Engineer to join their engineering team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional with strong rack build and AV systems knowledge, who also enjoys leading and mentoring others.
You’ll be a key player in assembling, wiring, and troubleshooting AV racks — setting the standard for quality, organisation, and reliability. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision engineering and wants to make a visible impact on mission-critical installations across global clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Assemble and wire AV racks to a high standard, ensuring industry best practices are met
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during rack builds and off-site deployments
* Maintain accurate rack inventory and documentation
* Lead and guide junior team members in their development and day-to-day responsibilities
* Pre-prepare cables for upcoming projects and maintain a tidy, safe work environment
* Collaborate with production and project managers to implement improvements and meet deadlines
* Act as a key liaison between engineering, production, and project teams
* Maintain consistency across rack builds — especially when working on repeat system designs
* Stay current with industry trends and rack build technologies
About You
* Strong technical knowledge of AV systems and rack builds
* Experience assembling, wiring, and troubleshooting complex AV racks
* A hands-on leader who leads by example and provides guidance to junior staff
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
* Able to manage multiple rack projects in a fast-paced environment
* Proactive communicator with a collaborative mindset
* Familiarity with health & safety best practices in a workshop setting
* Comfortable working on-site and off-site when required
Working Hours
* Full-time: 40 hours/week
* Rotational shift pattern between 7:00am–7:00pm, Monday to Friday (with 1-hour unpaid break)
