The Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a mechanical background to act as the delivery lead on a major EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project.
This role spans the full project lifecycle — from engineering through to client handover — and requires a strategic leader with experience in oil & gas, nuclear, or other highly regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of construction managers across all project phases.
* Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of construction activities in line with EPC standards.
* Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and client teams for seamless project integration.
* Drive performance, productivity, and continuous improvement across operations.
* Provide leadership and strategic input during project reviews and client engagements.
About You
* Mechanical background is essential.
* Proven experience managing large-scale EPC construction projects.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
* Background in oil & gas, nuclear, or other highly regulated industries (nuclear experience highly desirable).
* Demonstrated ability to manage full project lifecycles, from design/engineering through to client handover.
* Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
* Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
* Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, NEBOSH, SMSTS (advantageous).
