We are seeking a Team Manager who is committed, innovative, and possesses strong leadership skills to lead our Mental Health Hospital Liaison Team. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting Rotherham Hospital Foundation Trust in the effective assessment and treatment of individuals with mental health issues. This includes providing responsive, emergency assessments within the Urgent & Emergency Care Centre and on inpatient wards.
We desire an individual passionate about urgent mental health care, who collaborates closely with crisis and home treatment leads and strives for continuous improvement. The role involves working with external partners to ensure parity between mental and physical health needs and maintaining a safe, effective, and efficient service within the wider health and social care system.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Take overall responsibility for the Rotherham Mental Health Liaison Team, ensuring high-quality, person-centered service delivery.
2. Lead the development and ongoing improvement of the service, working with the leadership team and building relationships with key stakeholders within the Trust.
3. Assist in developing and implementing integrated care pathways.
4. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team in a professional manner.
5. Promote positive intra-agency collaboration.
6. Support the formulation and implementation of clinical and operational practices and procedures.
7. Participate in recruitment, selection, and induction of new staff.
8. Establish and evaluate effective communication processes within the team.
9. Provide performance data and analyze KPIs to ensure timely access to services for patients.
