About the Job
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef located in Coventry. The Head Chef will be responsible for leading kitchen operations, supervising kitchen staff, creating and designing menus, managing food preparation, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities also include managing inventory, sourcing quality ingredients, monitoring food cost, and ensuring timely delivery of meals. The role requires maintaining a high standard of food presentation and culinary creativity to enhance the dining experience.
Qualifications
* Extensive expertise in Persian/ Kurdish cuisine, culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
* Proven leadership and team management experience in a kitchen setting
* Strong understanding of menu development, cost control, and inventory management
* Thorough knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and regulatory compliance
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing demands
* Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
* Formal culinary training or relevant certification from a recognized institution is preferred
* Previous experience in overseeing diverse cooking styles or cuisines is a plus
