Duties will include, but are not limited to: Management and oversight of the budgets, forecasts, profiling, payments and liaison with key stakeholders Monitoring in year spend with Programme and work Activity leads to provide challenge and hold accountable while ensure all areas including cash forecasting and purchase order process are reported accurately. Development of detailed multi-year profiles to ensure affordability and adherence to agreed business cases with HMT including modelling around exchange rate fluctuations. Preparation of briefings and financial advice to the UK Space Agency budget holders and Chief Operating and Finance Officer at the regular programme boards and other meetings Capture and model Agency financial resourcing requirements for mid to long term fiscal events (Spending Reviews) Develop financial models to monitor sustainability and drive senior leader decision making in the approach to Supplementary Estimates and Autumn Statements; Identify risks and opportunities to drive efficiency and challenge Agency spending to support robust forecasting in year, and across years; Supporting business case development (including production of cost models), to ensure UK Space Agency delivers robust financial cases; Maintaining UK Space Agency business case guidance in relation to the financial case, ensuring it is up to date and user friendly; Maintaining good relationship management with Activity Leads, UK Space Agency Directors and across departments (inc.
