Your new role
As an Associate Director within the Private Client Tax team, you will take a strategic and commercial approach to managing and developing client relationships while leading exciting and varied advisory projects. You'll ensure a high-quality service to a range of clients and manage a team, including reviewing work, providing training and development, and maintaining a positive and inclusive culture aligned with our values.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading advisory and technical projects for private clients
* Managing and developing client relationships, acting as the first point of contact for new opportunities
* Collaborating with partners to develop new business and build on existing relationships
* Mentoring and developing junior team members
* Overseeing compliance and advisory projects, ensuring quality and efficiency
* Working closely with other departments to deliver a joined-up service
What you'll need to succeed
* CTA and/or ACA qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Strong understanding of tax issues relating to private clients
* Proven experience in client handling and project management
* Ability to lead advisory projects and deliver high-quality reports within budget
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax compliance and advisory projects
* A passion for mentoring and developing junior staff
