About the Role
A great opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join a multi‑disciplinary consultancy delivering architecture and building surveying services across a diverse client base. You'll be based in Perth, managing your own workload while collaborating with colleagues across planning, energy, estates, and rural consultancy.
You'll work with private individuals, rural estates, institutions, charities and commercial clients - giving you a genuinely varied and interesting project mix.
You'll be involved in:
Contract administration & project monitoring
Building surveys and detailed report writing
Schedules of Condition & planned preventative maintenance
Preparing tenders, specifications and contract documents
Advising on procurement routes and contractor appointments
Scheme design, dilapidations and reinstatement cost assessments
Conservation and preservation of historic buildings
Ensuring CDM2015 and health & safety compliance
Applying RICS best practice across Party Wall, Employers Agent, Project Management etc.
You'll Need
MRICS, CIOB, CIAT or equivalent professional qualification
Knowledge of CDM2015 and the Building Safety Act
Experience with historic building conservation
Strong commercial awareness and time management
Full UK driving licence
