Position overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Landscape Recovery Engagement Officer to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in engaging with local communities, stakeholders, and partners to support landscape restoration and conservation efforts within Northumberland National Park.

About you:
1. You will develop and deliver an engagement strategy alongside a suite of public engagement activities, which communicate the unique importance of undertaking a landscape scale nature recovery project in a World Heritage Site.
2. You will have previous experience of developing and delivering informal learning/ engagement provision in one or more of the following: a heritage/ cultural setting or organisation e.g. Museum, National Trust, English Heritage, Historic England, a Science Learning Centre, a National Park, or other tourist attraction.
3. You will collaborate with partners to co-curate a public engagement programme with a broad appeal, promoting the importance of active nature recovery among communities, broadening participation and developing a more diverse audience.
4. Above all, you will be committed to the values of the UK’s national parks and to inspiring others to care about one of our finest landscapes.
