About the Role
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools, secondary schools, and nurseries across Cambridgeshire. These roles offer flexible working opportunities and the chance to make a real impact on pupils' learning and development.
We are working with a variety of educational settings that require skilled and passionate Teaching Assistants who can support classroom learning, provide targeted interventions, and contribute positively to the school environment.
Please note: A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant (or equivalent childcare/education) qualification is essential for this role. Applications without the relevant qualification will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils
* Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
* Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources
* Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and school staff
Requirements
* A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification (essential)
* Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work
* A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
* Willingness to obtain or hold an enhanced DBS on the update service
