What you’ll be doing:
* Safely operating HGV Class 1 vehicles to deliver supermarket and general haulage goods
* Loading and unloading stock at customer sites as required
* Ensuring all deliveries are made on time and paperwork is completed accurately
* Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any issues promptly
* Following company and road safety regulations at all times
* Communicating effectively with the logistics team and customers to maintain smooth operations
* Supporting night or day deliveries depending on shift patterns
What we’re looking for:
* Valid Class 1 HGV licence with CPC and Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
* Proven experience in supermarket/general haulage deliveries preferred
* Good knowledge of the Bridgend area and surrounding routes
* Excellent time management and a professional attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work day or night shifts on a 4 on/4 off rota
