Our client, a leading player in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer (Electronics) to join their dynamic team in Fife, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent role within a highly respected global leader in Manufacturing and Defence projects.
Important: All applicants must be able to obtain Security Clearance *minimum 5 years UK residency*
Key Responsibilities:
* Work on the full test lifecycle and diagnostics process
* Provide input to design authorities for successful DFM/DFT implementation
* Support bid work as required
* Engage in process improvement tasks
* Mentor junior engineers early in their career
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
Job Requirements:
* Proven experience in electronics test and diagnostics, particularly in a high-reliability environment
* Electronics qualification such as HND or degree
* Experience working on defence or military products
* Knowledge of high reliability electronics
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Permanent UK residency with successful background checks for a baseline BPSS security check
