Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Oldbury (B69), West Midlands
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Mon - Thu: 07:30 - 16:00, Fri: 07:30 - 12:30)
Salary: £37,800 + benefits

A leading construction manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established Engineering Team. This role offers security and stability, with opportunities for training and development within a friendly environment.
Responsibilities
1. Completing scheduled and reactive maintenance on various mechanical machinery.
2. Supporting the manufacturing process within a team.
3. Recording and monitoring engineering and production issues.
4. Troubleshooting faults and proposing solutions to prevent reoccurrences.
5. Communicating progress with Production Managers and Team Leaders.
6. Investigating faults, performing repairs, and updating maintenance records.
Skills and Qualifications
* Time-served Mechanical Engineer with manufacturing experience.
* City and Guilds Part 1 and 2 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Good fitting skills.
* Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding.
* Experience in planned and reactive maintenance, continuous improvement/lean manufacturing.
* Welding and fabrication skills (desirable).
* Organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
* Good diligence, problem-solving skills, and timekeeping.
