Overview
Cally Smith Childcare is a early years setting run from our family home in Brompton on Swale. The setting is open Mon-Thur 8.00am-5.30pm for a minimum of 47 weeks per year. We care for children from Birth-5 years old and can have up to 12 children in the setting per day.
We are primarily an outdoor setting, working towards our curiosity approach accreditation. We spend most of our time in our educational garden and the local environment, no matter the time of year or weather, so a love for puddle jumping is a must
We are looking for someone who is reliable, fun, patient and well-presented but most importantly has a passion for young children. Applicants must be enthusiastic, flexible & enjoy been busy and having lots to do.
The role will involve assisting the childminders in the day to day running of the setting including:
* Interacting with children
* Cleaning to a high standard
* Preparing meals
* Carrying out others household chores
* Attending to children's needs
* Following the settings curriculum
* Adhering to regulatory standards
Qualities needed:
* be motivated to enhance children learning & development experiences
* have good spoken and written english
* have excellent communication skills
* be willing to complete online training courses as needed
* have fantastic abilities to use your own initiative
* be positive, outgoing & have a genuine love for working with babies & children
* be able to work as a team and learn on the go
* have have eye for detail ensuring our high standards are maintained
Childcare qualification and/or previous employment in a childcare establishment desirable but not essential to this role
The applicant must be flexible and available to work any hours within Mon-Thur 8am-5.30pm.

The setting is committed to safeguarding and has a strict safer recruitment policy. All roles are dependant on enchanted DBS checks & references.

Pay: Up to £14.50 per hour
