Location: GL1 2TA, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, South West, UKJob Title: Traffic WardenLocation: GloucesterSalary: £12.60 per hourContract Type: Temp to Perm / Full TimeSector: Traffic/ TransportAll CV's to – A tailor-made parking solutions company, operating in over 9 countries and 183 cities, are seeking a Traffic Warden to patrol permanent and temporary parking places within the Gloucester area, to ensure compliance with either the 1991 Road Traffic Act, or 2024 Traffic Management Act, by issuing parking notices when require.Your place of work will be Gloucester, and you will have access to your own facilities, you will be required to patrol the council car paks within the City centre, and issue penalty notices to vehicles where necessary.Full training will be givenThe hours of work will be Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, 32 hours per week.The duties of the Traffic Warden will include: Issue parking notices to offending vehiclesComplete pocketbook in standardised manner according to the regulationsComplete street visits as requiredRadio in the first parking notice issuedNotify your Team Leader of the total count of parking notices at the end of your shiftInspect parking meters and pay and display machines, to ensure they are working prior to issuing noticesPlacing out of order notices and reporting faults on parking meters and pay and display machinesRecord additional evidence which may be required to prove breach of regulations, and which would not be included on parking noticesCheck and report on signs and markings to ensure that any parking notices issues are validReport suspected abandoned vehiclesAct as a source of local information to the publicDeal with difficult customers effectivelyCarry out cash collections in line with company proceduresCarry out minor machine maintenance We are looking for a Traffic Warden with: Excellent customer service skillsA full UK driving licenceA professional persona You will be joining a company with a reputation for providing a friendly and professional service to its clients.
