Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for purpose-driven work? REED Finance are working with a dedicated not-for-profit organisation based in Edinburgh, that are looking for a skilled Accountant to support their team through the financial year-end process.
About the Role:
As the Year-End Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the financial records are accurate, compliant, and audit ready. You’ll work closely with the finance team and external auditors to deliver a smooth and timely year-end close.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and finalise year-end accounts in accordance with charity accounting standards (SORP)
Support the audit process, including liaising with external auditors
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports for the board
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as needed
