We are Eden Futures, and we deliver exceptional support services for people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and associated complex needs.
We are recruiting Support Workers to join our team across our Supported Living Services, supporting individuals in their own homes as well as out in the community, helping them to live as independently as possible.
Roles are paid at an hourly rate of £12.21, which equates to an annual salary of approximately £26,652.72 based on a 42-hour working week. The annual salary is for illustration purposes only. NLW applies and will be pro-rata'd based on hours worked. This is a full-time contracted position.
We offer flexible working hours/shifts to accommodate your commitments.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check before starting employment.
Upon joining Eden Futures, you will complete a comprehensive induction involving face-to-face training, e-learning, and shadowing experienced team members.
For those new to care, we support you in completing your Care Certificate and obtaining a nationally recognized Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or a relevant field, in partnership with our provider Lifetime Training.

Main Responsibilities
* Support service users to lead full and active lives according to their wishes and support plans, participating in plan development where applicable.
* Ensure the safety and welfare of service users, taking appropriate safeguarding actions.
* Provide emotional support with a person-centered approach.
* Assist service users in participating in community activities, managing finances and medication, and supporting with practical tasks, personal care, hygiene, and healthcare.
* Act as an informal point of contact for family members, social workers, and other support networks.
* Accurately report and record issues related to the care and support of service users to monitor their health and wellbeing.
* Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring the safety and welfare of others.
