Salary: £765 £1,250 per week (MPS1 UPS3), dependent on experience

About the Role
An excellent secondary school in Harborne is seeking a qualified Teacher of Maths to join their Mathematics department from September 2025. This is a full-time position for at least one full term, with strong potential to become a permanent role from January 2025.
You will be responsible for teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4, with full planning, marking, and assessment responsibilities. The department is well-established and supportive, making this a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Mark and assess in line with departmental and school policies
* Support pupil progress and promote engagement in Maths
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Contribute to the wider life of the school and department
Person Specification
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
* Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools is essential
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Passionate about delivering engaging and effective Maths education
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
