We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly and supportive team at a welcoming and inclusive primary/secondary school in Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver structured learning activities to groups and individuals across a range of subjects.
* Provide support to teachers in planning, assessing, and managing classroom activities.
* Cover lessons during teacher absence or PPA time.
* Support the development of pupils’ social, emotional, and academic skills.
* Contribute to the development of resources and interventions tailored to individual needs.
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold HLTA status or be willing to work towards it.
* Have proven experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role.
* Be confident leading whole-class learning under the guidance of a teacher.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
