The Royal Armouries is the United Kingdom’s national museum of arms and armour and one of the most important collections of its type in the world. It is housed at its headquarters and flagship museum in Leeds, its historic home at the Tower of London, and the Victorian Fort Nelson in Hampshire.
We have an exciting opportunity for two Museum Assistants to join the existing Visitor Services team. Reporting to the Visitor Services Supervisors, the successful applicants will provide excellent customer service and undertake a variety of duties, including commercial selling, promoting donations, operating the crossbow challenge, and acting as gallery and fire wardens.
The successful candidates must be able to work flexibly in busy environments and demonstrate the ability to maintain high standards. They should be effective communicators, able to engage with visitors and build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
