We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Nurses to work within our dynamic Poole East and Bournemouth North 0-19 Public Health Teams (health visiting and school nursing).
The role involves working with children (0-11 years) and their families. The successful candidate will support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme within the Children and Young People Public Health (CYP PH) Service. This includes targeted interventions and support to children and families, delegated by and supervised by the named health visitor or school nurse, working closely with all members of the 0-19 PH team.

Employment requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover. Applicants subscribed to the DBS update service can present a valid DBS certificate instead of a new check.
Responsibilities include undertaking development reviews for children under 5 in community settings, supporting drop-in clinics, health promotion, and supporting families in areas such as sleep, feeding, and behaviour, as well as delivering the 0-5 Parentline service. For school-aged children, duties involve promoting health through school drop-in clinics, Parentline 5-19 service, and referral support.
